The new shop has been a great success, with the population of Albury and surrounding areas showing fantastic support and a liking for our specialised items that we supply.

We decided to open the new Albury store after so many requests as many people cannot make the trip to Yackandandah on a regular basis.
Many people only get to Yackandandah once or twice a year, now they can just drop in when shopping in Albury it’s made shopping with us much easier and less time consuming .

Donations from Australia and Oceania region distributed to Thailand flood victims
Donations raised for the Victims of the recent floods in Thailand have been distributed to those in need in Thailand.
Donations from Australia and Oceania region was distributed to flood victims. Most Ven. Sudhammo represented the people of Oceania bringing help, care and assistance to them himself and let them know that there were people from the other side of the world that care about their welfare. He did not only assist in their physical needs but also by giving good Dhamma talks and led them in a meditation time to boost their morale in this trying time.

Ajahn Satit Abbot of Wat Albury (Albury’s only Buddhist Temple) along with regular visitors to the Temple held a walk along Dean Street, Albury to raise much needed funds. Congratulations to the many generous people of the region who helped by donating to this worthy cause.

Mani Stones carved mantra in rock from Tibet and Nepal
Tibetan Buddhists believe that saying the mantra (prayer), Om Mani Padme Hum, out loud or silently to oneself, invokes
the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.
Viewing the written form of the mantra is said to have the same effect — it is often carved into stones,
as pictured below, and placed where people can see them giving all who see them the blessings.
